This '69 XL sports a 390, but my dream car would have the slightly lighter 429-4V and GT suspension. With loads of comfort... and luxurious ride... and HUGE backseat.. it's the perfect car for takin hotties to the drive-in.

We've got a '73 Super Beetle, some color. Needs a new engine though. Then we've got a '74 Beetle which needs a new body. My mom is also thinking of getting a $3,500 Beetle that needs new wheels (tires and rims). Thus far I am not impressed with the famed 'German Engineering.'

You know, you could combine all of them into one good one. The parts are interchangeable. Smile

I did that once upon a time. An acquaintance had a nice Beetle body with a "bad" engine, and an ugly Beetle with a good engine. I told her I'd put the good engine in the
good body if I could have the "leftovers". Sweet deal. The bad engine wasn't all that bad; I put it all together for the princely sum of $70, drove it a few years, then sold
it for $300!

I would like to have a new Caddy CTS-V, too. Same engine as the Vett, just a little more tame, but still over 500 HP!!
